Terms and conditions
By paying deposit, booking and using the studio, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Check-In, Timing & Booking Hours
Check in on time. We cannot guarantee additional time if you arrive late.
Your booking time does not include parking, unloading, setup, or pack-down. Please allow sufficient time.
Booking time includes setup and pack-down within the booked hours.
Overtime is charged at the studio’s current rate and must be paid before entering overtime.
Please ensure you leave on time, as another booking may follow immediately.
Maximum 10 people unless otherwise agreed
Studio Use & Cleanliness
No outdoor shoes are permitted inside the studio (unless on camera). Please bring clean indoor shoes or use socks.
Strictly no food or drink in the studio. Food and drinks are permitted in communal areas only.
Drinks must be kept away from equipment at all times.
Keep the studio, waiting areas, kitchen, and green rooms clean.
Dispose of rubbish properly.
Failure to comply may result in a £50 cleaning fee deducted from your deposit.
Furniture, Sets & Layout
Any furniture, props, sets, or equipment moved during your booking must be returned to their original position before departure.
Sets must be restored to their original condition unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Props and set pieces must be handled with care — please lift, do not drag.
Do not modify walls, floors, or fixtures without prior approval.
No painting, drilling, or use of adhesives without written permission.
Failure to reset the studio may result in reset or labour fees.
Equipment Use
Only use equipment if you know how to operate it. If you’re unsure, please ask.
Return all equipment to designated areas after use.
All equipment must be returned and checked out before leaving.
Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment immediately.
Clients are responsible for damage caused during their booking.
Electrical Safety
Do not tamper with electrical systems, wiring, sockets, circuit breakers, or fixed installations.
Overhead lighting fixtures and installed electrical fittings must not be moved, adjusted, or modified.
Do not overload outlets.
Only studio-approved power sources may be used.
Keep liquids away from all electrical equipment.
Damaged cables, exposed wiring, or unsafe electrical equipment are strictly prohibited.
The studio reserves the right to disconnect power or terminate a session if unsafe electrical use is observed.
Any damage, safety incidents, or call-out fees will be charged to the client.
Access, Keys & Security
You will be issued a key fob to access the building.
Lost or unreturned key fobs will incur a replacement fee.
Key fobs and access credentials must not be copied, shared, or lent.
All keys and fobs must be returned at the end of your booking.
Noise, Conduct & Neighbours
Noise levels must be kept reasonable at all times.
Please be respectful to neighbours and others in the building when entering, exiting, or moving around.
Loud music, disruptive behaviour, or complaints may result in immediate termination of the booking without refund.
Smoking, vaping, drugs, and illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
Damage, Accidents & Liability
Clients are responsible for any damage caused to the studio, equipment, furniture, or props.
The studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
Report all accidents, damages, or incidents before departure.
Any damaged equipment or sets will be charged to the client and must be paid within a week of damages taking place.
This also includes hired equipment, furniture, flooring, electrical damage and revenue lost due to damaged goods.
In the event that a client causes damage to studio property or hired equipment, the client is liable for repair or replacement costs as well as any loss of revenue incurred due to the item being out of service.
Banned Items
The following items are strictly prohibited:
Glitter
Confetti
Smoking or vaping
Candles or pyrotechnics
Adhesives
Cancellations & Right to Refuse Service
Cancellations made within the stated cancellation period are non-refundable.
The studio reserves the right to refuse or terminate any booking if these terms are breached.
Insurance and claims
Professional Liability Insurance (PLI): Clients and their crew are responsible for maintaining their own insurance coverage for all shoots conducted at the studio. This includes PLI, personal injury, and property insurance as applicable.
Responsibility for Injury or Damage: The studio is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damage to persons or property caused by the client, their crew, or guests, including but not limited to improper use of equipment or general negligence.
Waiver of Claims: By paying a deposit and/or using the studio, clients acknowledge and agree to waive any right to make claims against the studio for personal injury, property damage, or other losses that may occur during the shoot.
